The mighty Falcons had a day in the sun (literally!) as they defeated South River on home field, earning the first "W" for the season. Brian Burns ran for a pair of touchdowns and passed for a score to get the Falcons off and running towards the winners circle. Tommy Williams recovered a pair of fumbles, cashing one in for a 33 yard touchdown. Also in the spotlight- Jeff Hoffman, who had 13 carries and was wide open for a 28 yard touchdown pass, which was launched by Burns. Bringing the heat on defense, Rob O'Connor, who led the team with eight tackles, followed closely by Jeff Hoffman, whose lucky number was seven.
