Homecoming spirit was definitely evident, as packed stands cheered and Brian Burns returned the opening kickoff for an 80 yard touchdown. Momentum seemed on our side during the first quarter, but the too-tough Patriots rallied in the second quarter, with not-one-but-two touchdowns, leaving the Falcons behind 17-7 at halftime. Falcons came back and held Old Mill off in a no-score third quarter, and David Tewell caught a 10 yard touchdown pass from David Horn which left the fourth quarter score with the Falcons trailing by only 3 points. Defense was unable to hold off another Patriot touchdown however, as a 6 yard run gave Old Mill another "W" in their win column, but not without earning it! Great show of spirit guys!
