Falcons were certainly flying high, as they took to the air with the ball- and hit the mark almost every time courtesy of QB David Horn. David completed 10 of 18 passes, scoring twice with Dean Samuel and Tommy Zichelli receiving.  Jeff Hoffman rushed for 128 yards, and also racked up 2 TD's for the Falcons. The O-Line was definitely fired up, despite dreary skies and raindrops, the homecoming spirit was still in the air. Matt Lacher, Chris Anthony, Rob Dooley, Tim Hackmann, and Jacob Baxter fanned the flames by punching some open air in the Wildcat defense. Mike Miller, Ryan Budka, and Bobby Zichelli also made some great plays, driving those chains effectively downfield in the Falcons favor, despite efforts by officials who dished out 15 Falcon flags throughout the game. Andrew Bremer was also on target, kicking 4 out of 5 to extra points! On defense, Park held tough when it really counted, with some great plays by Walker Babington, Sean DiBlasi, Alex Kin and Jason Butler. Ryan Willey had an interception in the first quarter, which stopped a 50 yard drive by the Wildcats. Rob Turnblacer forced a fumble, recovered by Alex Kin, and Dave Sells covered like a  blanket late in the fourth quarter which stopped a crucial Arundel drive led by the  Wildcats impressive Louis Gonzalez. Andrew Ferris and Rob Turnblacer were a hard hitting wake up call, as they held Gonzalez to -2 yards on another crucial 4th quarter play, which had game tying potential. Ferris currently leads the team in tackles with 8 against the Wildcats, and 76 this season!  Rob Dooley also delivered a sack towards the defensive effort. It was down to the wire, but the Falcons held tight and gave Severna Park their first Homecoming win since 1999. Falcons return to home field at their regularly scheduled time next week against Glen Burnie Gophers... See you at the game!
