Falcons faced off against Southern Bulldogs early on Friday afternoon, and were stopped short before they ever got started, as Bulldogs came out barking with a 90 yard kickoff return which set them up for an easy score. Momentum stayed on their side and frustration could be seen all around, as spirits lagged on the Severna Park sidelines. The Falcons were halted time and time again, and not even a first down could be found until the 3rd quarter. Looking on the bright side, the team did hang tough, and managed to score late in the fourth quarter on the last possession of the game with a 34 yard touchdown pass from Ryan Willey to Sean DiBlasi. Andrew Ferris led the team with 15 tackles, and Rob Turnblacer wasn't far behind, racking up 10 tackles of his own, and forcing a fumble, also recovered by Sean DiBlasi. Rob Dooley also scored a sack in the Falcons favor. Hopefully the Mighty Falcons can pick it up and rise to the challenge as they gear up for next week's homecoming game against the Arundel Wildcats!
