The Falcons rose to the occasion again this week earning a little respect by putting an end to the Cougars 2 game win streak for the season. The Falcons quickly put out Chesapeake's fire, scoring the first and only touchdown this year against the Cougars with a 24 yard pass from David Horn to Dean Samual. Andrew Bremer kicked the extra point to make the Falcon lead 7-0. In a gridlock that lasted the next 3 quarters, Tailback Jeff Hoffman also rushed for 157 yards on 27 carries, backed by by an eager Mike Miller, while defensively the Falcons stepped up to shut down the single wing offense of the Cougars. Alex Kin led the defense with 11 tackles, Sean DiBlasi put forth an outstanding effort by batting away a pass, along with Ryan Willey who recovered a fumble form Chesapeake's Nick Bowen. Also in the supporting cast was fearless Andrew Ferris, Matt Lacher, Chris Choe and Rob Turnblacer, who were seen taking down a few Cougars along the way, and putting another "W" in the Falcon nest. Severna Park will be back on home field for Week Four vs. North County- Keep Rollin!
