South River (1-1)

The Mighty Falcons gave the Seahawks something to talk about after rallying from behind an 18 point South River lead in the second quarter, and scored 14 points to even up the scoreboard for the second half.  Jeff Hoffman made his way through the holes, and down field courtesy of the Falcon Offensive Line, and gained an awesome 283 yards rushing on 41 carries. David Horn was on the mark and Tommy Zichelli was his target- receiving the 24 yard touchdown pass that put the first Falcon victory in reach right before halftime. Momentum stayed on our side coming into the 3rd quarter, and the Falcon defense stepped up, allowing no points for the second half of the game. Norman Gee caught an exciting 2 point conversion pass, and Andrew Bremer set his sights on the goalposts and kicked the extra point which was enough to secure a win.
