High School Associations, and the Severna Park High
School Athletic program.

Participation is at the discretion of the coaching staff, and players may be denied participation for disciplinary reasons. All Varsity players will meet in the weight room at 2:30 on Monday, and Wednesday. Players also Must attend Saturday morning practices for weight training too at 10:00am. NO EXCUSES. Each late is a 100 yard stinger, 2 no shows the athlete is dismissed from the team.

Players who quit or are dismissed from the team are responsible for returning all gear that has been issued to them. Each player is responsible for the uniform and equipment that has been issued to them. You will be charged the full replacement cost for any equipment that is lost, damaged, or stolen. 700.00 Dollar obligation.

Be on time for practice. Being late or missing practice can result in dismissal from the team, Therefore you are expected to attend all practices. If you are expected to miss practice for any reason, please notify Coach Hines ASAP at 410-544-0900 Ext. 258, or on his cell phone 443-386-5858 if school is not in session.
Attend
the entire day of school on game day. There are no excuses unless you have made
prior arrangements with an administrator, and you will not be
allowed to participate in the game.
You
are required to attend school and classes regularly. B.O.E. new policy. Truancy
from class is one game suspension, second offense dismissal from team.
Team
dress code will be enforced on game day. If you choose not to, you will not be
allowed to dress or stand on the sidelines during the game.
Severna
Park Football is a team game. Therefore, each player will dress identically, and
will wear the uniform with pride. Individuality will not be accepted. Dress code
is strictly enforced.
All
students must ride the team bus to and from all athletic contests unless prior
permission has been granted by the administrator, and an approved travel form
has been completed.
You,
as a player, represent yourself, your parents, your school, your team, and your
coaching staff. Make good impressions and respect adults. Remember, you
never get a second chance to make a first impression.
An
athlete is expected to act like a gentleman, therefore, display good conduct at
all times. Treat all coaches, officials, spectators, and other players with
respect and courtesy.

Only the coaching staff can cancel a practice. Practices will be attended as scheduled unless players are notified otherwise. School closings or dismissals do not reflect practice attendance unless Dr. Smith has cancelled school.

If you see a physician for an injury, you are not permitted to practice or compete until a doctors release is received. Report any injury or sickness during games and practices to the coaches IMMEDIATELY!

There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on the team for violence, use of illegal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Violations will result in immediate dismissal from the team, no exceptions.
Always
do what is right. There is never a wrong time to do the right thing.
Be responsible, accountable, and have high expectations of yourself.
Players
who display poor sportsmanship on the field or on the sideline will not
participate for the remainder of the contest and will sit out the next game.
