The dates of the pre-program evaluation are listed below. All football players must attend two of the three scheduled sessions. The pre evaluation tests are the same tests used by colleges to evaluate high school athletes.

As part of the tryout and player evaluation process, Coach Hines and staff have designed a series of drills and lifts to help evaluate each player in the categories of: Speed, Endurance, and Strength, which will provide the coaches and athletes with a valuable tool to rate each individual's overall level of fitness and conditioning.  (This is one aspect of the many factors by which players are evaluated, and by no means do the results alone decide whether a player is accepted as part of the team.)

These drills have been designed for student athletes as a  SELF EVALUATION, so that they can more effectively train during and after the season, to enhance those areas in which they hope to improve. Coach Hines can help each player to design a workout program better suited to the players individual needs, and hope that each player will strive to make improvements throughout the year. For more information on individual workouts see Coach Hines or one of the coaching staff. Players were given all pre testing materials at the end of last school year, and will perform post test evaluations on the first day of practice. In 2001, the coaches began recognizing the athlete with the best overall score with the "Gold Falcon Award" as an extra incentive to be the best athlete they can be.
