SP- Sanders 60 run (Bateman kick)

SP- Johnson 3 pass from Morrison (Bateman kick)

Monday Monday... there's just something about a delay of game that takes a little wind out of your sails. After a questionable weather call on Friday, Severna Park hosted the Knights in ideal conditions and came out strong with a 60 yard TD run, Sanders style. Pat Bateman kicked the extra point to give Park the early advantage. North County's next possession ended when Tambua Bradford blocked a punt, recovered by Sean Price who ran it to the 17 setting up a quick scoring drive completed with a 3 yd. pass from Pat Morrison to Porter Johnson. And that would be the final points- the remainder of the game was a battle of defense. North County was able to penetrate the Falcon Front and had plenty of opportunity to score. Severna Park had a few key interceptions by Chris Hunt, Marcus Monroe and Tommy Bryant to keep the Knights contained. Chris Hunt and Porter Johnson led the defense with 5 tackles each. Joe Farrell and Sean Price each had a sack. Falcons defense stayed strong pulling off a shut out and are setting their sights on Friday when they take on the 4-1 Old Mill Patriots. Severna Park defends it's title on the road for a homecoming showdown that is sure to be a hard fought battle. Come cheer them on!
