The Show Must Go On... But The Pictures Couldn't- Stay Tuned- They'll Be Back Soon!

The Falcons visited a Homecoming for the 2nd week in as row- and the downpours couldn't stop Severna Park as they scrapped the game plan and took to the ground- muddy though it was- and pulled out a win against North County. Zingler's passing game was held back by the slippery conditions, he completed only 1 pass for the game, but that didn't stop the run... he had 2 TD's on foot. The Knights had a hard time holding on to the ball, giving  up 4 turnovers, the first of which Pat Morrison recovered and set up Pecevich for the opening FG which brought the Falcons to a 3-0 lead. Kevin Zichelli recovered another fumble shortly after which was later intercepted to set North County up for their lone score of the game. From that point on, the Falcons offense stuck to the ground game and had an impressive 13 play, 61 yard drive, courtesy of the awesome O Line which included Ethan Vidal, Chase Kettler, Zach Feldmann, Steve DiMilio, and new addition Matt Deleonibus. Porter Johnson carried 7 times on the drive, slip sliding his way to gain 30 yards. Zingler followed up with 3 carries and a 4 yard TD to put the Falcons ahead for good, followed up later by his 70 yard TD run.  Defense held strong and "stuck" in the mud... Pat Morrison led the team with 10 tackles, Mark Otto with 8, and some impressive hits by Mark Hepburn, Joey Greco, Dax Kettler, Marques Johnson, and Brent Sanders who also forced a fumble. Taylor Bozel and Joe Farrell made the other 2 fumble recoveries to contribute to the win. The Falcons are back at home next week for their own Homecoming- this time they take on the Old Mill Patriots. See you at the game!
