Under a full moon and to a packed house Severna Park proved themselves worthy of a W with an awesome performance Friday night. QB Greg Zingler had an awesome game both in the air and on the ground, scoring an opening TD with a pass to Hunt and a later one with an impressive run to the end zone. Greg completed 10 of 15 passes for 82 yards, and racked up 55 yards in the second half on the ground. The team executed well on the triple option, with more impressive yards by Marques Johnson, and Tom Babington. Tommy Massie scored twice putting 2 back to back TD's on board for the Falcons. Chris Hunt was on target for a 21 yard pass and also a blocked punt which he returned for another SP score. Defense was also effective and proved frustrating to the Seahawks for most of the game. Tyler Handley, Mark Otto, Brent Sanders, Tommy Bryant, and Porter Johnson gave an awesome defensive stand, while Joey Greco and Lewis Spadaro held tight up the middle. All in all the Falcons had something to be proud of and will hopefully carry the trend into next week where they face off against the Southern Bulldogs again at Roberts Field. See you at the game!!
