Daytime games always seem to shake things up a little and at kickoff, this game was off to a rocky start for the Falcons. South River took advantage of a fumble on Park's 19 yd line, and turned it into a score early in the first quarter. After sputtering, the Falcons took to the air with Zingler completing 10 of 17 passes for 165 yards and connecting twice to Ben Hunt for Touchdowns. The Falcons answered back on their next possession with an 80 yard drive started with a 23 yard pass to Dan White. Andrew Ferris had an 18 yard run, and Zingler and Hunt passed for  29 and 7 to tie up the scoreboard going into the second quarter. On the other Falcons' scoring drive (45 yards in six plays), Ferris made a key reception for 13 yards for a first down, while Joey Greco gained seven yards to keep the drive alive. Zingler added five yards on a third-and-1 play, leading to his pass to Hunt for the 14-7 lead. The Falcons defense dominated from there, consisting of Joey Greco, Tim Hackmann, Steve Metzger, and Mark Hepburn up front, linebackers David Sells, Matt Jahnigan and Mark Otto, and defensive backs Ferris, Brent Sanders, Chris Hunt and Josh Wallace, holding the Seahawks to only 86 yards rushing, 43 of those coming in the first 12 minutes of the game. Chris Anthony made some key tackles, and Jon Hartman kicked the extra points to bring home the win for Severna Park.  Next week they face off against Annapolis in a Friday night showdown under the lights. Come cheer them on!

Defense remains strong  holding the Seahawks to just one touchdown, bringing home  the win!
