The Falcons and Cougars squared off with matching 4-4 records on Friday night, and in four quarters of "almost was" and "might've been", the Cougars came out on top to walk away with the W. Severna Park stayed in the game but never quite sealed the deal, with Defense stepping up and putting the brakes on Chesapeake's Gary Townes. Bryce Chamberlin led the team with 14 solo tackles and 7 assists. Sean Di Blasi, Tyler Alan, Joey Lehner, Chris Anthony and Rob Dooley also stayed in the Defensive game to keep the Falcons within striking distance. Dave Reim had an interception for the Falcons. Tommy Zichelli was on the receiving end of both touchdown passes- in the second quarter from QB Greg Zingler and 4th quarter 33 yard pass from QB Ryan Willey. Norman Gee, Dave Sells, and Ryan Budka made great efforts toward the offensive drive, but the longest yard was put out of reach when Park turned the ball over late in the fourth quarter with an interception. Chesapeake scraped by with a sentimental win for their homecoming. Falcons will be at it again on Halloween Night against the North County Knights- Come cheer them on!

Take
a Knee for David Sells who had a great game on both Offense and Defense before
going down with an injury to his ankle. Dave will be out the rest of the season
and will be missed! Get Well!
