Despite downpours and less than perfect conditions, the Falcons and Seahawks faced off Friday night in a mud bowl battle of the Defense! Through the storm, there were quite a few fans braving the stands and the Mighty Falcons gave them a show, slip sliding into the end zone for an opening drive touchdown by Andrew Ferris. Matt Jahnigen caught a 11 yard pass from Ryan Willey keeping the drive alive into the second quarter. Defense kept the Hawks in check with some interference from Alex Kin, Ryan Budka, Tyler Alan, Norman Gee and Sean DiBlasi. Dean Samuel ran some impressive pass interference, and it was Dooley-time! Rob scored 2 fumble recoveries - making way for a 37 yard drive which capped the scoring with  Budka running 4 straight times for 21 yards, and a final 4 yard sprint to a touchdown! Second team had some shining stars late in the fourth quarter with impressive plays by Lee McFarland and Dave Reim. Falcons host second-ranked Annapolis next week. See you at the game!
